Admission Requirements

 
Graduate Certificate of Business Administration (GCBA) -   100  % Offline, 100% Online, Hybrid Formats
  1. Evidence of an earned high school diploma, General Educational Development (GED) test, or the successful completion of 12 semester units earned at an appropriately accredited postsecondary institution or foreign equivalent. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.  
  2. Possess computer and internet skills sufficient to effectively participate in an online learning environment and conduct research at the undergraduate level. 
  3. Demonstrate English proficiency. Candidates whose high school instruction was not conducted in English need to submit official TOEFL scores (minimum TOEFL score of 500 for paper-based test (PBT) or a score of 60 on the iBT).
  4. A completed application form.
  5. Signed School Performance Fact Sheet (SPFS).
  6. One headshot photo.
  7. A copy of a government-issued identification card.
  8. Non-refundable $100 application fee.
  

Graduation Requirements


GRADUCATE CERTIFICATE OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
  1. A completion of all required coursework with a minimum 2.0 grade point average (GPA).
  2. A successful completion of 18 semester units of prescribed curriculum.
  3. A settlement of all financial obligations to UI.
  4. ​Apply for graduation. 

ABILITY-TO BENEFIT, PRIOR EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING, CHALLENGE EXAMS, AND ACHIEVEMENT TESTS
University of Irvine does not acknowledge Ability-to-Benefit policy, student's prior experiential learning, challenge exams or achievement tests. The University has not entered into an articulation or transfer agreement with any other college or university.


TRANSFER OF CREDIT
No transfer credit will be awarded at the certificate level.
